The visiting Accountant

In recognition of the fact that a SME business may not afford the cost of a qualified resident accountant, we have designed an outsourced accounting function where we perform the services of a visiting accountant.

A qualified accountant visits the SME Business on agreed frequency in a month to obtain and capture important data for the client. The information is then captured and maintained using modern accounting tools and important decision making reports are generated and shared with the business owner on a regular basis. These reports include determination of payable statutory obligations on deadlines stipulated by regulators.

Some of the reports provided regularly include Sales, expenses, Taxes, Debtors, Creditors and profitability reports. PA then acts as ‘the accountant’ at end year presenting the books to Auditors for Audit on behalf of the client and ensures that requisite Income tax obligations and returns are complied with.

This service recognizes the need for an internal accounting resource for a SME business but PA takes full responsibility by providing a PA Accountant who operates from the client’s premises.

The AI provides the business owner with all information required for decision making on demand but receives supervision from PA. We ensure annual Audit is done and necessary statutory returns are made on due dates.

Accounting Talent Supervision

This service was born out of the realization that a business may require a resident accountant by virtue of the business activity but the business owner may lack the skills to supervise the resource.

PA plays the role of finance manager supervisor and ensures that the accountant is performing the role appropriately and reviews the accounting information and reports before it is shared with the business owner for decision making.

PA will oversee Audit on an annual basis and ensure all statutory obligations are met on due dates.

This is a service offered to SME businesses that can afford a resident accounting resource, but has challenges in attracting, interviewing, placing and orienting one.

PA performs this role and ensures a suitable candidate is identified and well oriented to perform the role before handing over the settled resource to the Business for supervision
